Mad Trees is the retail nursery arm of Appalachian Landscaping. We are located at the corner of Rt. 17 and Rt. 100 behind the LocalFolk Smokehouse. Our hours are by appointment or Saturday mornings at the Waitsfield Farmers’ Market. Our plant material comes from our nursery or is handpicked from several Northern Vermont commercial nurseries. This allows us to stock the very best trees and shrubs available. We have been selling and planting trees and shrubs in The Valley for eleven years.

Our plant material — grown in this region — is superior to trees and shrubs that have been transported from out of state nurseries and have to struggle to adapt to our climate. Our fresh, hardy, locally grown plants are delivered direct from the nursery to ensure the highest quality trees and shrubs available.
